Our Services

Speech Therapy

Services work on improving the quality and clarity of how children’s speech sounds to their communicative partners. Skills addressed in therapy could include articulation, stuttering, volume and/or intonation.

Language Therapy

Services work on improving children’s overall communication success. Skills addressed in therapy could include vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and/or social skills.

Feeding Therapy

Services work on improving the quality of feeding experiences. This includes issues with picky eating, dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) or oral-motor difficulties.

Advocacy Services

Typically aimed towards caregivers, these services work on understanding children’s educational rights and services. This also includes special education advocacy for the child in school settings. We offer IEP review, recommendations, meeting attendance and coaching.

Where do I start & how does it work?

We make life easier by coming to you! Our speech therapists provide services in children’s natural environments (home, daycares, pre-schools) or virtually.

Consultation

Initial consultations are free and used to gather more information about parent’s concerns and answer any questions you may have. If you feel we may be a good fit for your family’s needs, we will provide intake forms and schedule your child’s evaluation.

Therapy

Therapy length and frequency recommendations are discussed at the follow-up conference. However, most children are seen 1-2x per week for 30-45 minute therapy sessions.

Evaluation

A standardized evaluation will be chosen and administered based on your child’s needs. Evaluations help identify areas of strength and weaknesses as well as identify if speech, language or feeding disorders are present. A virtual conference will follow the evaluation to review the written report, discuss results and provide recommendations.

Payment

We currently are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield Networks P & S. We also accept private payments via cash, credit/debit, check or HSA funds. Upon request, we are able to provide documentation for families interested in seeking reimbursement from out-of-network insurance providers.

Meet the Owner

Megan Allen, Ed.S. CCC-SLP

Tiny Seeds Therapy LLC was founded by Megan in 2023. Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech & Hearing Sciences degree from The Ohio State University, a Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology degree from Ohio University, and an Education Specialist degree in Administration & Leadership from Carson-Newman University.

Megan is originally from Columbus, Ohio, but has called Nashville, Tennessee home since 2013. She has a wide range of clinical experiences ranging from working in the hospital setting on an inpatient rehabilitation floor to working in the public schools. Although she has experience working with populations across the lifespan, the majority of Megan’s career has been focused on the pediatric population.

The past five years of Megan's career were marked by her role as a lead speech-language pathologist for Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, where she successfully helped guide a team of over 100 therapists. It was during this time that she discovered a passion for supporting families in understanding their child's progress, capabilities, and educational rights. Now, Megan leads a team of three SLPs that are equally passionate about supporting children and their families in better communication.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys cooking, admiring her pollinator garden, and expanding her skill set, whether it's through sourdough baking or coding. Most nights, you can find her having dance parties with her three young daughters or playing outside with neighborhood kids.

Client Testimonials

  • "Our child has a few different articulation issues which have required speech therapy through her life. We recently made the switch to working with Megan at Tiny Seeds, and we have seen so much growth in such a short period of time! Several sounds that our child struggled to master with other therapists so now articulates clearly and routinely in conversation without prompting. Our child has also really connected with Megan and looks forward to when she comes to visit. We’re so grateful to have Megan as our therapist and high recommend her."

  • “Words cannot express how fortunate we are to have found Megan and Tiny Seeds. She has been such an amazing asset and resource for our family! We have a 16 mos old with Down Syndrome and he receives both speech and feeding services. Oral motor skills have been our biggest hurdle to date and Megan has been instrumental in his progress of both. She is wonderful with him and makes every session an enjoyable experience. We love that she comes to us so that we can remain in a familiar setting. That has proven especially beneficial for feeding therapy as it is sometimes hard to adjust to new high chairs and distractions of new surroundings of a more clinical setting. Megan is equally incredible in working with our whole family to help better understand and support our little guy’s special needs. She’s extremely patient and takes the time to answer all my questions and explains evaluations, progress and goals thoroughly. Most importantly, I feel like she genuinely cares and invests herself in all the kiddos she sees. We sincerely appreciate all she has done for us!"

  • “One of the things that stood out most was the way Megan prioritized family education. She took the time to explain each aspect of our child's therapy plan, ensuring that we were fully informed and comfortable with the goals and strategies. This made a world of difference in how we could continue to support our child's progress at home.”

  • "Megan with Tiny Seeds Therapy is the best! She has only worked with our 6 year old a handful of times but we are already seeing massive improvement and confidence in her speech! Not to mention she makes it so fun we’re constantly getting asked when the next appointment is! Megan does a great job of making the therapy time fun and exciting for the kids as well as providing great feedback with actionable steps to take and practice between sessions to the parents. I feel very confident in the skills she is working on with our daughter and can see improvement already! Could not recommend Tiny Seeds more! So grateful we found them!"

  • "Megan has been amazing in helping me with our son’s 504 plan and IEP. She has given us great advice on what questions to ask and concerns to bring up during our meetings at school. As a parent with a kid that has ADHD and dyslexia, we had no idea what to do and she has helped us through this journey since the beginning."

  • “Megan works tirelessly to support families in need. Her vast knowledge and experience give her tools to meet any child where they are currently and to grow from there. Her relationships with children and parents are unmatched. I would whole heartedly recommend her services. She is the real deal!”
